IP Address
An IP address is the identifier of your network exit. Every time you go online, your device gets a public IP that external servers use to identify your location.
Geolocation & ISP
Geolocation shows which region the current request is coming from. If you're using a proxy or acceleration service, the geolocation will be the exit node's location, not your physical location.
Proxy Detection
Proxy detection checks whether your current traffic is going through a proxy server. Detecting a proxy usually means your network exit has been taken over, which is normal for cross-border access.
DNS Leak Self-Test Notes
DNS requests resolve domain names into IP addresses. If DNS requests don't go through the proxy tunnel, they're exposed directly to your local ISP — that's called a DNS leak.
How to check: open a third-party DNS leak test site and compare the displayed DNS servers. If the DNS servers match your local ISP, there may be a leak.
The VPNCU client handles DNS resolution by default to reduce leak risk. After importing your subscription link, the system automatically sets routing rules so DNS requests follow the proxy tunnel.
Privacy Note
We don't record query results, and no logs are kept during the lookup process. Registration only requires a username and password — no email address needed. VPNCU follows an anonymous no-logs policy and doesn't record your browsing content.
